Katerina is a textile artist specialising in one-of-a-kind handmade textile artefacts, that reimagine traditional techniques of hand embroidery, needle lace and natural dye. Inviting dialogues of personal and planetary care to be shared through slow textile making.

Through the workshop series 'Stitching with Nature' Katerina
 endeavours to share her skills, and gently promote how working akin with nature and craft can enlighten your life. 

Katerina initially trained at The Glasgow School of Art. After then working in luxury fashion, Katerina returned to her studies completing a Masters in Textiles at the Royal College of Art London as a Burberry Design Scholar. Katerina exhibited at Dutch Design Week 2023 and has been awarded prizes by The Textile Society, Batsford Books, a special mention for the international Dorothy Waxman Prize 2023, among other awards. 

Katerina is a published writer, contributing to publications such as; Embroidery Magazine and Selvedge Magazine, where she works as an Editorial Assistant. Katerina is also a lecturer on BA Textiles at Hereford College of Art.
